Owl Pellets: Mitt, Monster Research, Orson Welles, Andy Warhol

Today I’m heading into San Francisco with a few hundred thousand of my closest friends. A World Series victory parade on Halloween seems like a decent way to see the city for the first time.

I bet it looks like the back of someone’s sweaty head.

I just hope I get close enough to Buster Posey to smell him. He always looks so fresh and clean.

Anyway, your not so special Halloween owl pellets:

Red Cross had to divert staff to deal with Romney’s phony “relief effort”: Nice job, Mitt.

12-year-old uses Dungeons and Dragons to help scientist dad with his research: Reminds me of the time I used Clamato, Tabasco  Worcestershire sauce and ample amounts of vodka to help father with his research.

Orson Welles on Work-Life Balance and the Gift of Ignorance (1960): While it’s Halloween  here’s some more Orson Welles.

AUDIO SLIDE SHOW: PETER SCHJELDAHL ON “REGARDING WARHOL”: And some Andy Warhol. Not sure what holiday he gets.
