It amazes me every time.
It’s never been about a haircut, spitting, fighting or breaking things. Sometimes you have to do all of that because sometimes things are in your way. But is it about that? Not really. It’s about this.
It was just going to be lipsyched shmaltz. Lydon, instead of simply adopting some silly faux rebellious rock and roll pose, which would have been just as cheesy, took the whole thing and made it better. Much better.
