The Terror of Tiny Town
By Ryan Oakley. Filed in movies |This is a pretty typical western except that everyone in it is a little person. I don’t find midgets funny in and of themselves. But the idea of a whole wild west town full of them is bizarre and interesting.
How did Tiny Town come to be?
Did the little people (that expression makes me feel like I’m talking about leperchauns) get sick of being oppressed in the civilized east and move west to start their own village? Was there an accident of some kind? Or do they inhabit a parallel universe?
You’ll just need to get high and decide for yourself.

Although Ryan Oakley began his career as a simple rake (drunk) he has since become Toronto’s most renowned flaneur (no car) and notorious dandy (overdresses). A misanthropic composer of psycho-geographical fictions (bad science fiction), he is also a server of food, a tender of bar and a washer of dishes. While performing all these functions with efficiency and elegance (disdain and malice), he somehow finds the time to publicly criticize friends, strangers and cultural crap. He's a bit of a dick.
