Two Kinds of Bloggers: Danielle talks about two kinds of bloggers and points out a lopsided representation at conferences. I can’t imagine going to a blogging conference. I thought that’s what the internet was.
In Defense of Internet Journalism: Kevin defends blogs as media.
My Blog, My Outboard Brain: Since I’m neither media nor the type of blogger Danielle describes, yet have a blog anyway — this article is probably the best explanation of why I bother.
The Art of Being Informed — about the data dandy: Combine with this and you’ll probably get some sort of idea what The Grumpy Owl is about. Not necessarily the right one, but an idea.

I like to push the boundries of my output capabilities, a lot of input is lost if I don’t reformat it as something other than brain matter.
The meat is weak.
Blogging is definitely one way I process information.
Thanks for the Outboard Brain link.
