Well, I got sick of the header that Mr. Sauls made. It was very nice but I can only look at swastikas for so long. Besides, this site really isn’t about Nazis. They do come up in conversation but it’s not about them.
For those of you who missed it – here’s a pic of the one he made.
Like I said, nice but just not quite me. Sometimes you need to try something on to see if it fits. This was a bit stiff in the arms. But it had spoiled me and I wanted something better than I could construct.
So I went to a friend of mine, Jeff Lemire, who is what some call a graphic novelist and what I call an awesome comic book guy, and asked him to make me one. (He’s been promising me a robot owl drawing for ages but I forgot all about it.) And I really like what he’s done. The full pic is below.
I finally got around to reading his last book too and I really liked that. I’ll review it in a separate post though.
