This new site feels like a new beginning. It has me thinking: What can I do here that will improve the blog? I’m a fan of regularly recurring features and I’d like to add more. The problem is — this is a one man operation and that man does have a life.
Having said that, I was going to attempt to make the “Grumpy News Roundup” a daily thing. Instead I’ve decided to get rid of it and have a new but similar feature called “Owl Pellets.” Those are those little balls of fur and bone that owls puke up because they’re unable to digest everything. I run into quite a few sites like that. Interesting and/or fun enough to clutter up my bookmarks but not quite worth the effort of a post or a permanent link.
So, without further delay, here’s your first Owl Pellets.
