I really hate blogs about writing. Writing has got to be about the dullest topic in existence. I think people should have something to write about other than writing. And I hate sites that have a lot of fiction stories. I’m just not devoted enough to any one blog to get through huge blocks of imagination. It’s the internet. A second here is an hour anywhere else. I have no patience for anything online. I want my money shot and I want it now.
I mention this because I have an idea and thought I should run it past my readers before I torture them. I sometimes write flash fiction. (You don’t know what that is? Really? Well, congratulations. You aren’t a science fiction or fantasy writer. These are, I think, the only people who have ever heard of the stuff, let alone read it.) Flash is extremely short stories. Usually below 500 words. I’m not very good at it. That’s why I like to sometimes write it.
But here’s the thing. It pays shit. I might as well give handjobs to the homeless in subway station washrooms as sell flash. And I’m convinced that no one reads it. So I’m thinking that I should give up my lottery ticket to win 5 to 15 dollars. Although there’s a small chance that those stories will be read by the other writers in whatever issue mine appears in, it just seems like a waste of time. I might as well just post them here. Not all the time, probably not even weekly, and certainly not on schedule but once in a while.
Let me know what you think. This is a rare moment when I care about your opinion. I might still ignore it – but what the fuck? You all know who you’re dealing with by now.

Hey, I’m all for it . I love your Blog and would like to have a taste of some more of your stuff . I’m not really into Sci . Fi but am willing to give it a try. Look forward to it .
