Speaking of Photos

And here’s another pic taken by a pro. This was quite accidental. I was on my way to work when I bumped into Anita. She’s a fashion reporter from “I Want, I Got” and “BlogTO“. She’s often quoted by newspapers, television and magazines like Variety. But she’s also an old friend – getting older all the time.

There was some sort of photoshoot going on in the park and I was shanghaied. I was given a dog, Anita was given a tophat and this is the result.

I must say – I’m fairly disgusted with myself. To begin with I’m wearing brown in town. Second, neither my pipe nor my walking stick matches my suit. Third, I’m in my workboots. I think I must have been dazed or something. I have no idea what came over me. All I know is that suit is basically my pajamas and now I’ve been photographed in it. A word to the wise, dress before you leave home.

Still, the photographer, one Ms. Tanja-Tiziana Burdi, who has a book for sale and is an editor at BlogTO is quite good. She’s very nice as well. My attire is entirely my fault. Perhaps, Anita shouldn’t be wearing a tophat – it being foolish to attempt to compete with me on my terms, even when I’m in coal-mining clothes – but I like the addition of the dog. Tanja’s pictures are of a much higher quality than the ones curious tourists snap of me from their minivans.
