I like to have the corpses of animals I fear. That’s one of the reasons I like my “Shark in a Jar” and it’s why I have a half of a dead frog for a change purse.
It’s a bullfrog from the Philippines. The species is not native to that region. During the Second World War, the Japanese introduced a slug into the area. When the Americans took over they figured that the best way to get rid of that pernicious slug was to introduce a good ole’ Yankee Bullfrog. The bullfrogs found better things to eat than the slugs and have lived there ever since, happily devastating the local wildlife.
But not this one. The only thing he eats is loonies and twoonies which he eventually evacuates into my savings. He’s an integral part of my economic ecosystem.
