Fish have taken over land before. Some, like the infamous mudskipper, are still trying. We have held them off because they cannot move around up here. When we do allow them into our territory it is only in stationary aquariums, where we may mock them with impunity.
But no longer. Now they can just roll where they please.
The beaches will be the first to fall but make no mistake, the fish will not be content with that. Soon they will be knocking on your front door. Not with a weak little flipper but with a robotic, man-killing arm. Those of use who are not killed or taken prisoner in underwater human tanks will have no choice but to escape into space. With luck, we’ll be able to conquer some aliens but you never know. They might be fish too.
