My alarm clock broke so I bought one of these Mosque Alarm Clocks. It wakes me up with, what I think, is the call to prayers.
If I somehow manage to sleep through this, CSIS will crash through my door, walls and windows to wake me up. (It’s a sort of snooze function.) But I doubt I’ll sleep through it. The clock is damn loud.
When I bought it, I was terrified that it would accidentally go off on the subway and I’d be lynched. These days having a flashing, noisy and tick-tocking Mosque in a public place is somewhat frowned upon. But, probably, so is posting shit on the internet that involves the words “sleep”, “Mosque”, “CSIS” and “subway.”
Can’t imagine why.

That alarm clock rocks!
And if you miss the snooze button, the minnarettes will spear your hand, and the searing pain will get you out of bed.

It’s just the best alarm clock I’ve ever seen. And I hate alarm clocks.

hellooooooo again ;D
These clocks were always in my house when I was young…and helpful though they were, had the scariest electronic voice doing the azaan/prayer/alarm!!
I was jolted/shocked out of sleep and even awakeness too many a time and have since vowed never to expose my future kids to em!!
