Or they’re supposed to. So where are they? These things were invented about a year ago. By now we should be up to necks in self replicating cubes that have escaped from the lab. Perhaps the robot, like the panda, hates to breed in captivity. Or maybe they’re waiting, patiently biding their time until we humans become smug and let our guard down. Then they’ll attack. Or breed. Or whatever they do except look organic and strange. At least they look that way at four times the speed. In real time I bet they’re pretty damn boring.
