New Scientist Magazine says that -Long-term Marijuana Use May Fog the Brain. I say that they’re getting the wrong dope. Should you imbibe any half-decent reefer, short term use will certainly fog your brain. That is, after all, the point.
I wonder what tipped off these intrepid scientists to this wholly unexpected side effect of pot smoking? Did they interview my parents? Perhaps they reviewed some videotaped interviews with hippies or Snoop? Did they hang out in a high-school parking lot for a few weeks? Just what led them to the startling conclusion that “long-term users of marijuana gradually become worse at learning and remembering things.”
We live in a great era of scientific daring. I know that some people have said that modern scientists are just operating under a “publish or perish” mentality, that they prefer to rehash old findings than to do the hard work of testing new theories, but I trust that those critics will now fall silent. This groundbreaking study has obivously proven them wrong.
