Snowflake the Ape

Remember when you kindergarten teacher told you that everybody is special and unique, just like pretty little snowflakes? Well, that was a filthy lie. Not about the snowflakes but about us. We’re more like mass produced goods.

But, in the case of Snowflake the Gorilla it might be true. This albino was captured in 1967 and died in 2003 of skin cancer. But he did manage to father twenty one kids.

“The mothers were 3 females born in Equatorial Guinea, like Snowflake,” she says. “Their names were Ndengue, Bimbili, and Yuma. Ndengue was always his favorite, and Snowflake showed much distress after her death” a few years before his own.”

I just hope that no one will think that I’m “a loser” for supporting his defect. I happen to like defects. No matter what sort of ape they occur in.

Awww he’s cute! I’m going ape over him ;D

Tho the name’s a bit effiminate. Shame on his owners!

Love story denied…..fit for an Oscar worthy screenplay!

Look, we may be mass-produced, but we are also defective apes, too.

I think I would have preferred it if they had of called him Frosty. Now there’s a manly name.
