I’m not just a fan of robots. I also like robot art. And books about robots. I would say, however, that if your robot art doesn’t move, it’s a doll.
I will make an exception for Bennett Robot Works.
These sculptures are made from found objects and, as the website says, they “are not meant to be a toy.” I’ll put aside my objection to that statement. Just because these things are so damn cool.
Well, maybe cool is the wrong word when you’re dealing with robots. Cool sounds like something Samuel L. Jackson would say and I’m pretty sure he’s not really into robots. So, let’s just say they’re NEAT-O and be done with it.

I hope the aliens that take over earth look like that!
Is that a male robot or a female robot?
I don’t see a schlong so I’m assuming it’s female. But since it’s a robot the schlong could be hidden inside a metal foreskin that we can’t see. It’s all so confusing!

Why do you think Samuel L. isn’t into robots? I bet he thinks they’re nifty.

Sublime: I think that robot is sexless.
Marica: I just can’t picture Jules saying: “Asimo is a cool motherfucker.” Could be wrong.

The old fashioned way.
