Robotic Shopping Help

On Thursday TMSUK showed off a new robot-overlord (or robo-lord) in a shopping mall. Even though it is far from cute, it seems fairly benign. It helps elderly and disabled shoppers and knows its way around. It gives directions, carries your bags and will even give you shopping tips. I advise against taking the shopping tips. At least until this beast learns how to accessorize.
TMSUK, of course, is the company that gained notoriety when one of their robots ejaculated smoke, swarming with nano-parasites, over the Japanese Prime Minister, thus hijacking his brain and causing one of the bloodiest reigns of terror in recorded history.
But it looks like they’ve bounced back from that. Good for them.
