Here, you have a middle aged man who has decided to dress up like a robot dog and patrol the suburbs with a big toy gun. He seems to have a nice house and other than the costume appears totally sane. Yet . . .
He seems a bit fixated on vengeance. “TERRORIZING THE NEIGHBORHOOD!” he says. “RAAR! VENGENCE! DESTRUCTION! CHAOS! RAAAAAAR!”
He has even gone to the trouble of putting a little bug in the mouth, who’s movements are linked to his steps so it looks like it is pulling a series of levers, thus controlling the robot.
It’s very clever and the bug is cute. But is it a happy insect about town, off to do good work and help people? No. Of course not. “He’s a happy little vengence-minded cockroach.”
I suppose the good news is that the neighbors will never say that he was a quiet guy who kept to himself. The bad news is that they’ll probably all be dead.
