It looks harmless and it keeps the monsters safely cowering beneath the bed, but the nightlight causes cancer. Fucking cancer.
I would like to start a petition that all artificial light be removed from bars, restaurants, workplaces and public areas. ASAP.
Maybe I will.
Although Ryan Oakley began his career as a simple rake (drunk) he has since become Toronto’s most renowned flaneur (no car) and notorious dandy (overdresses). A misanthropic composer of psycho-geographical fictions (sci-fi), he is also a server of food, a tender of bar and a washer of dishes. They used to say nightlights caused nearsightness in children too. Bah! I say live life – everything causes death because it’s INEVITABLE, PEOPLE.
