On April 13, 2036, a 390 meter wide asteroid called Apophis could hit Earth. At least that’s what NASA says and they’re never wrong so I suppose we should listen.
But the good news is that Scottish scientists have found a solution or, at the very least, a way to decorate Apophis. They recommend using paint spraying robots to change its path.
That’s right. In 30 years Earth may be saved by graffiti painting, hip-hop bots. I must admit, I’m a touch excited about the prospect though I am also worried that ‘Solar System Renewal’ minded aliens might take exception at our tagging of asteroids.
