PaPeRo. It’s an acronym for “Partner-Type Personal Robot.” I would have just called them cute. These adorable little fellows might look like toys but they’re actually childcare robots.
That’s right. When you finally decide to let a machine raise your children, the television, video games, the computer and the school system now have some stiff competition.
PaPeRo can do all sorts of things. It recognizes people, communicates with them, can send images via mobile phones, can sing, dance and play games.
